Not too long ago I went to visit Emma and Tess to chat on their podcast – The New Normals. I had just recently been introduced to them through my friend Dave Lim, and had listened to all the episodes while working. So I was busting for some new episodes to listen too and here it is, with me – Episode Seventeen.

I hope that makes sense, I am not feeling too well, so I’ve been trying to lay low. Not do too much, you know. Just things like this:

First layer completed!
I’m wrecked now but in a really happy way. This is the first oil painting I have started in almost a year.

I had forgotten how wonderful it is to work in oil paint. Though both my drawing and painting tend to be figurative, I do find that they are both very different and to now have both back in my life is a huge relief.
