I never really draw in sketch book – pictures in books have always frustrated me I prefer them plastering my walls, doors, locker, cupboard – but with a wee one it is good to have a sketch book handy to just draw in when she falls asleep on me.

Here’s a drawing of a lady I did recently – ‘Elena’ – which I named after my friend, Elena Misso –
