Here’s a couple of photos I took of the abbey in Bath with my Holga:
Working
In the evenings when – and if – the little one sleeps I work at my drawing board. The series I am currently working on is called ‘Flesh & Bone’. It’s a very emotional series for me but it feels really good to be exploring it.
I am working on the second one at the moment and I have drawn up two others, but there are more sketches in my book that I have to shoot some reference material for. I’m really on a roll and enjoying it.

A little friend for Little Beatrice Emily:
Elena
I never really draw in sketch book – pictures in books have always frustrated me I prefer them plastering my walls, doors, locker, cupboard – but with a wee one it is good to have a sketch book handy to just draw in when she falls asleep on me.
Here’s a drawing of a lady I did recently – ‘Elena’ – which I named after my friend, Elena Misso –

Acrylic paint
Seated Nude 2010.
I haven’t used acrylic paints in years but decided to give them a go as I haven’t been able to use oil paints. There’s too much conflicting information about oil painting while pregnant so I just thought I’d stop for a bit.
