I love you Gene bean.
Lily, I have been following your brave journey for a few years now and I am sorry to hear about the accident. something similar happened to my cousin who lost the tops of two fingers when he reached into a part of a machine that he thought was turned of but the belt came on. It took him a while to recover, but he is cheekier and happier now than ever before. I know your husband’s journey will be similar and for the difficult bits ahead it sounds like you have a lot of great support, which is what matters most. Wishing your family all the best. Tina
I’m so sorry to hear about your husband’s accident. My husband is a carpenter and it’s always in the back of my mind and there have been a few yucky close calls over the years. Sending warm thoughts for his healing. Your drawing of his poor hand brought tears to my eyes. So glad you were all held and cared for by the people around you.
